2. What data we process and why
2.1 Contact form
Through the form on this website we collect: full name, e-mail address, company name, team size, selected areas of interest and your message.
- Purpose: answering your enquiries and, where relevant, following up on commercial interest.
- Legal basis: your consent, given by submitting the form (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
- Retention: 24 months from the last contact, then deleted unless legal obligations require otherwise.
- Provision is optional; without the required fields (name and e-mail) we cannot reply.
Form data is relayed through Formspree, acting as data processor (see formspree.io for its policy). Data is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
2.2 Conversational assistant (chat)
The on-site chat (Aimy, a chatbot) forwards messages to an automation platform (n8n, hosted by Render Services, Inc.) that processes them with an artificial intelligence model to generate replies. Please avoid unnecessary personal or sensitive data in chat. Messages are not used to train models on your data without consent.
2.3 AI Act self-assessment and follow-up emails
On the AI Act self-assessment page we collect: full name, e-mail address, company and role (optional), your answers to the questionnaire, your consent choices and the page or campaign you came from (UTM parameters).
- Sending the report: we use the data to calculate and e-mail you the report you requested. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR). Our team is also notified of the report and may contact you once to offer the free pre-analysis call (legitimate interest, Art. 6.1.f GDPR; you may object at any time).
- Information e-mails on AI and the AI Act: only if you tick the dedicated box, we send you no more than four e-mails in the following weeks. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the link in every e-mail or by writing to info@aimybusiness.tech.
- Retention: 24 months from completion for report data; data for information e-mails until you withdraw consent, and in any case no longer than 24 months after the last e-mail.
- Tools and processors: the questionnaire is processed by an automation platform (n8n) hosted by Render Services, Inc.; data is stored in a Google Sheets spreadsheet (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) and e-mails are sent through our e-mail provider.
The report is for guidance only and is not legal advice. We make no automated decisions producing legal effects concerning you: the readiness level only serves to order the recommended actions.
3. Cookies and local storage

4. Your rights
At any time you may exercise the rights under Art. 15-22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. Write to info@aimybusiness.tech; we reply within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or your local authority.
5. Extra-EEA transfers
