Cookie Policy

How and why we use cookies and local storage. Last updated: October 2026.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files websites store on your device to work properly or remember preferences. Alongside cookies we use the browser's local storage (localStorage), which serves the same purpose without sending data to the server on every visit.

2. What this site uses

This site uses technical tools only, required for it to work. We use no profiling, advertising or first-party analytics cookies. Full list:

  • aib-lang (localStorage): remembers your language choice (Italian or English). Duration: 12 months or until you clear browsing data.
  • aimybusiness_cookie_consent (localStorage): stores your cookie banner choices so the banner is not shown again. Duration: 12 months.

Both are strictly necessary to fulfil an explicit user request and do not require consent under Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code.

3. Third parties

3.1 YouTube (video)

The presentation video is not loaded with the page: a static cover hosted on our own server is shown and the player starts only after your click. If you play the video, YouTube may set its own cookies (including profiling ones under its settings). Details: policies.google.com/privacy. A direct YouTube link is available below the video if you prefer.

3.2 Formspree (contact form)

Form submissions go through Formspree, which processes the data solely to relay your request. It sets no profiling cookies on your device. See the Privacy Policy.

3.3 Fonts

The fonts (Chakra Petch, Plus Jakarta Sans, DM Mono, licensed under the SIL Open Font License) are hosted on our own server: they are not loaded from Google Fonts or any other external service and set no cookies.

4. Managing preferences

  • The "Cookie preferences" link in the home page footer reopens the banner so you can change your choices.
  • You can clear stored data at any time from your browser settings (Clear browsing data).
  • Technical cookies cannot be disabled individually because they are needed for the site to work.

5. Updates

If we introduce new tools in the future (for example analytics or marketing), we will update this page and the banner before enabling them.
